很多同學看到句意解析的題型常常會心生疑懼，其實句意解析的題目，最重要的就是找出題目的主旨，然後挑選答案選項當中跟題目主旨較為接近的就是正解了！英銘老師幫我們列了幾個步驟，只要好好參照，就可以輕鬆的掌握句意解析的內容取得分數。

(  ) With all due respect and obedience to my parents, I still think I would be happier if they could let me have my own way.

(A) In order to respect and obey my parents, I dare not have my own way.

(B) I am happy that my parents let me have my own way, and so I respect them.

(C) To respect and obey me, my parents let me have my own way.

(D) Although I respect and obey my parents, I wish they would not control me so much.

英銘老師：很多同學看到句意解析的題型常常會心生疑懼，其實句意解析的解題並不難，只要參照以下的步驟，就可以輕鬆的掌握句意解析的內容取得分數。

Step 1：瀏覽句意，找出主要子句：“I still think I would be happier” (我仍然認為我會比較快樂)。

Step 2：副詞子句“if they could let me have my own way”(如果他們可以讓我隨心所欲)修飾主要子句。

補充：

have one’s own way   隨心所欲、為所欲為      (often)

Owen has his own way all the time.

Owen始終是為所欲為的。

Step 3：介系詞片語“with all due respect and obedience to my parents”(因為所有應有的尊重和對父母的服從)修飾主要子句。合併之後→因為所有應有的尊重和對父母的服從，如果他們可以讓我隨心所欲，我仍然認為我會比較快樂。
